Welcome Eagle faithful to season 2018!

Here at the Nest we are set for another great year of footy. After our brilliant return to form in 2017  and our 13th premiership, the club is looking forward to building more success with our senior team in the upcoming AFL Ontario season.

Aaron Falcioni returns as senior coach in 2018. His experience, expertise and enthusiasm is one of the main reasons our players rapidly develop in skill, game strategies and garner a passionate commitment to our club goal.

We have several new faces at the club this season, as well our ‘old stalwarts’ and keen new Canadians who are all aiming at bolstering the side and doing well this year. We expect our younger players to move into greater roles this season, which augers well for the team as their enthusiasm and effort on the track will no doubt be infectious.

Our march into 2018 received a massive boost with the return of league Best and Fairest, Dean Gavin.  Gavin was keen to return to “The Great White North” and his beloved Eagles and is looking forward to continued success this season. We believe the club will once again field a competitive team and wish the boys all the best and a successful 2018 season.

I would like to congratulate all our League and Club award winners in 2017. The Toronto Eagles were well represented at last years AFL Ontario awards, winning 3 awards (Division 1 Best and Fairest, Division 1 Rookie’s of the Year, Division 1 Leading Goal Kicker). Well done to all of you and I look forward to your continued success this upcoming season.

I would also like to thank our major Partners, the West Coast Eagles and True Milestones Inc, and our many sponsors for their continued support throughout 2017. Without their support the club would not be able to operate as effectively.

The Toronto Eagles is an amazing club. It has wonderful support from it players and long-term members and I am looking forward to meeting everybody over the next few months. I wish everybody all success for 2018 and look forward to seeing you all at the club throughout the year.
