On Saturday, November 30th, the Toronto Eagles Australian Football Club celebrated their annual club awards.

The night’s top honour, the 2019 Troy Marsh Club Champion, was awarded to midfielder James Goetz who had an exceptional season for the Eagles.

The evening started with a presentation to all the clubs valued sponsors and contributors True Milestone Inc and TNT Therapy N Training. The club appreciates all that they do to help us every year.

The first award to be presented for the evening was the 2019 Coaches awards. This award is presented to a player which the coaching staff feels has had a solid season and is a valued member of the club. This year’s honour went to midfielder, Garrett Reynolds. This year’s goal kicking award went to player/coach Aaron Falcioni, who kicked 44 goals for the season. Defender of the year went to Sean Kennedy, who was a solid contributor all season and has really found his place in the backline.

The 2019 Rising Star award went to first year player Peter Baumann, who had a fantastic first season in the backline. Baumann has shown rapid improvement over the course of the season and is definitely one to watch in the coming years.

The club would like to congratulate all the evenings’ winners on their great seasons.
