The Toronto Eagles Australian Football Club has selected their teams captains for the 2010 Ontario Australian Football League season.
Club veteran Tasos Dimacakos was presented with the 2010 club captaincy. Dimicakos has been with the club for over 10 years and has a great football resume which includes, winning multiple premierships and representing Canada.
Last year, Dimacakos was vice captain and already has the respect of his peers. “This is a great honor for me” stated Dimacakos “I’m excited and am looking forward to leading this great club in 2010.”
The Toronto Eagles selected three vice captains for 2010, last years OAFL MVP Ajit Alister, full back Matthew Bachinski and co-vice president Mark Peterson. Each have had a strong leadership role in the club during their playing career and will help lead the club on and off the field.
